Only the Lonely

Being at a stargate all by yourself in a Broadsword. Now don't get me wrong, I absolutely love my HIC and it's about all I fly nowadays. It's just that most ships seem to always get away once they decloak. I post right above the gate ready to throw up my 20km bubble at a moments notice. Thinkin I should put dual points on it and maybe a SeBo. If I do this though, I lose some of my kick ass shield tanking ability. Anyone got any suggestions out there for me?

Let's Kill Botter's!!

Ok so here is my proposal. Have a message come across the screen requesting confirmation from you allowing Concord to assist in the situation. Make the message one of those wierd, random phrases that you have to type in or just some random sequence of numbers.
So here is a scenario. You come across a Hulk mining away in a belt. You try to talk to him/her in local and get no response. You the approach and bump him/her and still nothing. So you call in a web and scram to assist you and start launching an attack. Well a message pops up on the Hulk pilot's screen requesting confirmation that the Hulk pilot wants Concord support. All they have to do is type in the random code that is in the message and presto, Concord arrives. Now on the other hand, if it's a Bot then the program can't confirm the code therefore no Concord support arrives and you and your friends have just chalked up another Bot kill. Any thoughts on this?

Fly Drunk kills people a lot lately

Man our new members and veterans alike are tearing up the killboards lately. The new members, it seems, aren't afraid to get their ships dirty! Participation in CTA's from me isn't where it could be from me as I have to work 2nd shift. That being said, I usually miss the train by the time I get off work. The weekends are usually taken up with spending time with my wife and young son.
But! Our members are showing up in force for these CTA's and making Fly Drunk look great! Fatal Ascension notices these things so I don't think Fly Drunk is going to be on the chopping block anytime soon. We are also doing a good job of taking care of reds and neutrals that come into our Cloud Ring abode. I want to give a shout to Jas'min Biel for his tenacity in the combat around Cloud Ring. That guy is not afraid of a fight!
My favorite ship for the moment is still my trusty and busty Broadsword. Man that thing is unbelievably tanked! Gotta love the bubble too. What is your favorite ship at the moment?

Peace in EVE?

Is there any way possible for us to live in peace in New Eden? Would this or could this even work? Could PVP be conducted in a tournament style or could we delegate constellations for PVP only activities?
What would happen if we were all under the same Alliance? What would the market do if this occurred? Do you think prices would plummet? So many questions to answer and speculate on. What are some of your thoughts on this? Can there ever be peace on Earth or in New Eden?

Escalations in 0.0 (The Worst Site You Will Ever Do!)

Welcome to another installment of Minmatar Megalomaniacal Militant.  Let me start by saying that last night me and my corpmates lost three of four ships to a Serpentis Logistical Outpost escalation.  We brought two Hurricanes, one Drake, and one Dominix.  Now we had a feeling there would be a badass Energy Neutralizing Tower in there and we were correct.  It was bad news from the start.  Our corpmate who received the escalation message warped into the site and called for us to warp to him immediately upon landing.  He melted in his Hurricane before we even dropped out of warp.  One down.  So I, in my armor tanked Hurricane, and the other two in a Drake and Domi respectively started calling targets.  We had to warp out shortly after as the combined DPS and Energy Neut Tower was too much for us.
I died in the site shortly after the first Hurricane and so did the Drake I believe.  I logged out shortly after and said to hell with cleaning up my wreck as I knew I wouldn't be able to get it out anyway.  I also looked up the site on the EVE Forums and found out that this site is shit for rewards considering how hard it is to begin with.  If anyone out there has had the same experiences with this one send me a shout in the comments section below.

CSM Elections

Elections are here. I voted for Vile Rat. Gotta get a Goon in there somewhere to help balance things out.
Training for a Logi ship at the moment. Going to get myself into a Scimitar. Lookin forward to being an unsung hero of skirmishes out here in Cloud Ring and Fountain. Hope we can someday get a good fight with one of Perseus Kallistratos' gangs. He tends to scout for them and he has a nice blog i like to read called "Aggressive Tendencies". Gave him a shout in local once and he just stonewalled me. Oh well.
As for income out here in Cloud Ring you cannot beat running Sanctums. I plan to get myself trained into a Tengu for that sole purpose. It is just the ship for soloing Sanctums. You can pull in anywhere from 40 to 60 million isk an hour doing this. More can be had I think, if you use a Noctis to clean up afterwards.
Fly Drunk is always recruiting if you wanna join the Fly Drunk channel and chew the fat with Aele Deckard, our CEO, or anyone else that happens to be in there at the time. We are a tight group of PVP/PVE players out here in Cloud Ring. Lots of good peeps in our corp and we love Noobs! There isn't any SP requirements to get in, just can't be a douchebag.

Damn long time no blog

Wow, it's been a long time since I've blogged about anything.  Eve is doing great.  Fly Drunk is taking on new members at a pretty good clip.  Give us your hungry, your poor, your carebears.......that kinda shit.  Come out to null sec and pvp with us.  We do it daily, and we tend to do pretty well at it really.  *pats on back

Been playing a little xbox 360 lately and loving it.  Black Ops and Red Dead Redemption.  Two great games, but I have to say I think that Red Dead has a lot more staying power.  Black Ops gets a lil old really quick.  I mean there is only so many times I can shoot someone in the face and enjoy it every time.  I guess the thing that really bugs me is that there isn't any sense of loss in the game.  Those of you out there that play the cold hard bitch that is EVE Online know what the hell I'm talking about.  You log on and lose an encounter in that game and it fucking means something.  Oh well. Rant over.
