EVE Aspirations

Hmmmm.......writing in my notepad ingame. Working my way to a Raven I suppose. Just trying to pin down a good level 4 mission ship for GOOD income. The GOOD income is for the PVP action I hope to get into soon. I wanna be able to write about burning towards something and spanking my MWD and shit like that. Sounds so cool when the fellow from Agressive Tendencies blog says it.

I guess the first and hardest thing to get over is the fact that I will lose ships. No two ways about it. From what I've read and heard about beginners in PVP it ain't pretty.

Droid in my ship

Tethering your droid to your iPod touch FTW!!! Love this app I got for my phone. Helps me to keep updated on Capsuleer while away from home. Two thumbs up, WAY up.

Happily tethered. Zombie

Break is almost over

I haven't been playing EVE too hard for about a week now. Been waiting on Standard Missiles V to finish. I'm still fitting out my Hurricane to be able to run Level 4 missions.
I was doing a Level 3 mission the other night and just as I was finishing up the last room someone warped in on me. I finished salvaging and looting the final wreck as he approached. Tried starting a convo with him to see what he was up too. He wouldn't answer me so I assumed he was ninja salvaging. I sent him an EVEmail that said "too late lolz". He replied back "so it seems" and that's about it.
If he would have come in earlier he wouldn't have gotten a fight or tears. I've already decided that if someone comes in on me in a mission I will gladly let them have all they want. I'm just there for the bounties and standings. All the rest of the shit is just fodder for my OCD. If the wrecks are gone that means I don't have to worry about missing out on loot.

New Hobby--Bug Collecting

I don't know why but this is really interesting to me. I guess it relates to EVE Online in that I like to collect ships too. You know how it is, getting a hangar full of shiny and totally individual ships is fun. So is insect collecting. I like the idea of meticulous pinning and displaying them in well kept display cases.
It's a lot of fun to do with your children too as lots of kids like to chase butterflies and creepy crawlies. Gotta get a good insect net to catch a good amount of insects to identify and pin this winter. It's nice to have something to do in the winter and this will fill those long hours inside the house.
The insects I catch I keep in an envelope individually and when the time comes I pin them in position. Now when it comes time to pin them they will have to be able to move into a display position. To do this you use a relaxing box. It moisturizes the insect so you can move the limbs again.
Really fun stuff. I would recommend it to anyone for the learning aspect of it as well as the getting out of doors part. A well put together insect collection always looks cool in any guys den.

Happy hunting! Zombie

Capsuleer Blog Pack

Now these people can blog.  Anything EVE related or else, they can narrate it.  I absolutely love the Capsuleer App on my IPod Touch.  I don't know what I'd do without it at work.  If you play EVE Online do yourself a favor and buy an IPod Touch or IPhone and download the Capsuleer app.  It is unparalleled as far as blog needs go.  It also keeps you up to date on your characters and any others you can acquire the API keys for.  It's a must have for EVE Online enthusiasts.

SalvagePros

Getting all kinds of offers coming in. Some wanting me to join up in their Corp to clean up anomalies in 0.0 and others wanting to follow along on missions. Still hoping to get some business salvaging up after PVP activities.

SalvagePros

Had my first customer the other day! The operation went smoothly and I am pretty sure I will be called on in the future by that guy and possibly his corpmates. I made out an itemized receipt for him too. If you're wondering about the bounties I split those that I received from him at 60/40 also. I even ran some errands for my customer too. Such as picking up ammo he needed and things like that. All in all it was a promising first job. Hope to build on this and get my skills queued up to live up to the name SalvagePros!

Stay tuned........Zombie

Vacation

What defines a good vacation? Is it spending time with family and friends? Visiting somewhere far away? Enjoying yourself while staying away from the workplace? I would think any one of these things would be just fine. The common problem I usually run into on vacation is family forcing a good time. What I mean by that is the stress people put on themselves to make agendas and itineraries to stick to with minimal variance.
In my opinion a vacation should be easy going. Whatever happens, go with the flow you know? Some people with just never be able to loosen up I guess. They don't understand that I don't need to be doing something every minute I'm on vacation. If I wanted to do that I would have just clocked in.
Well I hope someone out there shares my outlook on the current state of vacationing with family in today's society. Just remember to pack your computer or laptop and a cooler of some Quafe. Thank god for EVE Online and alcohol to get me through my vacation!
